let me start this review by pointing you here and then mentioning that this cd is $7 at amazon.com

i promise.
seven
dollars.

ok, that being said, there are 3 tracks on this cd that i, a person who generally dislikes the female vocalist jazz/pop genre, really like. therefore, if this genre interests you, i would extrapolate this to fit 7 or 8 of the 12 tracks.

vh1 loves her, as does pitchfork and amazon.com.
why do i bring this up?
because this shit is way out of my league. it's like that weird rap review i wrote a while back - i feel like a zebra eating meat for the first time and trying to explain to you why it's good. you very well may be a carnivore, and you may very well be a huge fan of norah jones and billie holiday. if you are, then obviously this is for you and you knew that already.

if you're a freaking zebra like me, you should give it a shot. i stand by everything i said about "fidelity", and "on the radio" and (especially) "aprés moi" are very fun to listen to... and who knows, you might get in touch with your sensitive side on a few of the other tracks.

7.5/10
